We sat down with Joseph Rojas, the lead singer of Seventh Day Slumber and he told us the inspiration behind the song, Sober. “I wanted to write a song that deals with the battle of facing your pain without being able to numb it with addiction. It’s in those moments that battles of life and death are won and lost. Can you sit through the pain or will you grab something to numb you? Will you trust God and wait on Him or will you try to fix it yourself?”
