Relent to Release New Single “Holy Forever” on August 15 from Upcoming EP Suffer, dropping this fall!
Fans have been eagerly waiting 4 years for something new from Relent and they are not holding back with “Holy Forever”. I have had the chance to preview this song and it does not disappoint. I was impressed with the honesty and vulnerability that everyone that listens can immediately relate.
Holy Forever is a hard-hitting, raw, emotionally charged song in a place from vulnerability that talks about the personal struggle with anxiety and wanting healing and the need for intervention, transformation and restoration.
“Who am I to think that I can do this on my own” highlights the ineffectiveness of trying to get over the mental anguish that anxiety causes on your own without spiritual support from God.
“Bring holy devastation” suggest that this empty dark place that you are in must be destroyed before healing and transformation can begin.
“Holy Forever”, is a powerful reminder that if we ask God to bury our issues and allow Him to rescue you instead of trying to do it on your own. That we need to ask for restoration, and the transformation will begin. pre-save the song and be one of the first to get it when it drops next week!
